I can't say too much about them as I have not gotten one (and probably never will until the quality of NECA's products increases substantially) but i can say that you are better off buying them directly than going through the hassle of buying 100 random boxes and hoping that you will get lucky.Īs for the closed turrets, i really can't say much except for the anger and hate above.Product: Sentry Turret Blind Box Series 2 Figures Then there are those "secret chase" turrets. At least until you or someone else knocks it over and its leg snaps in half. Somehow the turrets mounted on the side makes up for the turrets ugliness and actually looks pretty neat. The open turrets do look pretty neat (if it's not derpy) despite the fact that it is super cheap and fragile. If you were lucky enough to have a normal looking zebra don't hate on me). It's really dissapointing that I spent like $15 on a collectible that looks like it was created by a 5 year old boy from the lowest funded school in the most depressing and cheapest country in the world (I wouldn't doubt it if that were true).Īlso, If you are buying a particular design, DO NOT BUY ZEBRA! It looks absolutely terrible and the paint on that design (for some reason) has never come out right (for me personally. Only half of the eye was painted and it stands a bit crooked), and is cheap (really just $.02 worth of chinese plastic with some super thin paint sprayed on it). It feels cheap, looks cheap (the turret i recieved was derpy as hell. What you get is the most lightweight piece of plastic that feels like it will break if you were to drop it a few inches above a piece of cardboard. NECA has once again ripped off Portal fans/collectors. Still I am satisfied with the quality but would really have appreciated the product more had I done more research. Nevertheless I cannot fault the producer since they did not discuss any of the above assumptions when I bought the product. I bought 2 of them: one was Series 1 (the hotrod), the first series, and the designs were not as developed compared to the other turret which was Series 2 (the sunset one) which clearly had more eye-catching designs. The other was "sunset" - a mixture of hues of yellow orange and pink, one I thought would be too girly given that I am a young male adultģ. I was a little dissatisfied with the ones I had - one was the hot-rod with orange and red flames on a black background, perhaps a little too "dark" for me. Mystery box - watch out! You need to be prepared if you don't get the design you like.
The one I had is barely the size of my palm, but well that was what the producer promisedĢ.
Product smaller than expected perhaps new users need to check the dimensions first before making predictions of the sizes. I am not saying it is cheapskate or inferior, but I was promised whatever was said by the producer but I made a few assumptions that I thought were correct but ended up otherwise:ġ. Though I am generally satisfied, I wish I had done more research beforehand as I had a few expectations that did not meet up to the product. I really appreciated the quality of the product and the other reviews ratings definitely were justified the turrets were in good condition and the quality was as good as I expected.
